Family Peer Support Worker Certification

This training prepares caregivers with lived experience parenting a child, youth, or young adult with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges for certification as Family Peer Support Workers (FPSWs). It takes an in-depth look at the Parent Peer Support Practice (PPSP) Model, exploring the roles of FPSWs and the phases of the model. Confidentiality, professional boundaries, ethics, and working effectively with child serving systems are discussed.

Interested attendees must apply to the Family Peer Support Program and be pre-approved to attend this certification training.
