This 18-hour training provides supervisors of Family Peer Support Workers the information and skills needed to effectively supervise a Family Peer Support Worker. Participants will receive an introduction to the Parent Peer Support Practice Model and explore the roles and phases of the model. A developmental approach to supervision and how the supervision needs of Family Peer Support Workers may differ from the needs of mental health professionals will be discussed.
This training is for those who are or will supervise Family Peer Support Workers, registrations will be reviewed for approval prior to confirmation.
