This 18-hour training provides supervisors of Family Peer Support Workers the information and skills needed to effectively supervise a Family Peer Support Worker. Participants will receive an introduction to the Parent Peer Support Practice Model and explore the roles and phases of the model. A developmental approach to supervision and how the supervision needs of Family Peer Support Workers may differ from the needs of mental health professionals will be discussed.
