About Foster Care Plus

The Center of Innovation for Behavioral Health and Wellbeing has partnered with the NM Children, Youth, and Families Department to implement Foster Care Plus throughout the state. Foster Care Plus (FC+) provides specialized support to children and youth in foster care with complex needs and to their foster care families. This innovative program provides a safe and supportive environment where children, youth, and families can work to increase their sense of wellbeing and achieve sustainable, positive outcomes. CYFD's Foster Care Plus Program has adopted the Pressley Ridge model for training and supporting Foster Parents enrolled with the Foster Care Plus Program. Learn more about Pressley Ridge here.

Requirements to Attend Trainings

Pressley Ridge and other trainings available through Foster Care Plus are intended for licenced Foster Parents and Treatment Foster Care Providers. Foster Care Plus families are given priority placement but all are welcome on a space available basis. Visit the training registration page for full training details by clicking on the button below.
