Mobile Response Stabilization Services Training for Trainers

The Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Training for Trainers (MRSS T4T) will prepare participants to train the MRSS Responder Curriculum. Adult Learning concepts will be explored to include, how adults learn, engage with and retain information. Trainer skills will be discussed to enhance participants ability to prepare, establish the training space and deliver training. Participants will receive an orientation on the COI Trainer’s Guides and an understanding of trainer expectations for delivering a standardized curriculum versus presenting their own content. Participants will receive a complete review of the MRSS Responder curriculum through Training Opportunity Practice Sessions (TOPS) in which each participant will be responsible for teaching a portion of the curriculum that has been assigned in advance of the training.

Participants should be aware that being invited to the T4T is not a guarantee of a contract. There will be future opportunities to attend a T4T if you are unable to attend this one, but they are not yet scheduled.

Intended participants of this training are approved applicants of the MRSS Trainer Certification.

Specific in-person training details and venue location to follow after registration confirmation. The in-person training will be held in Albuquerque, NM.
