Do you want to better help children in your care? We can help! Join this 11-week evidence-based training which centers around therapeutic needs for children. This training is an opportunity to learn, share stories, swap tips, and build your foster parent community.
This training is intended for New Mexico Foster Parents who have been approved to attend.

Since 1981, Pressley Ridge has successfully trained thousands of foster parents and foster care agencies across 38 states in their competency-based curriculum. The comprehensive, evidence- and competency-based program is designed to help trainers and program managers ensure a high standard of excellence in services for children and youth in foster care.
The Pressley Ridge Training is a 10-week evidence-based training intended for participants to not only learn, but to also have the chance to share stories, swap tips, and build your foster parent community. This 11-week training additionally includes a week focused on the Indian Child Welfare Act and Indian Family Protection Act.

- Saturdays 1:00 PM-4:30 PM MST from September 12-November 21, 2026
- Wednesdays 9:00 AM-12:30 PM MST from October 7-December 23, 2026
- Tuesdays 5:15-8:45 PM MST from November 3, 2026-February 2, 2026
All trainings are offered virtually.
