Using a Family Lens to Treat Youth with Co-Occurring Disorders
Training Description
Grounded in a family therapy framework, this FREE 7-hour virtual training emphasizes the critical role of family systems in both the development and resolution of complex behavioral health challenges. Co-occurring disorders among youth present unique clinical and systemic challenges, often leading to fragmented care, poor engagement, and suboptimal outcomes. This training addresses these challenges by providing an integrated, evidence-informed approach that aligns assessment, engagement, and intervention strategies within a cohesive family-centered model.
This training is intended for family therapists/clinicians, clinical case managers, substance use counselors, supervisors, program managers, and child welfare and juvenile justice professionals.
