Safe & Together Model Supervisor Training
Training Description
This FREE, virtual 2-day training is designed for supervisors and managers who have completed the 4-day Safe & Together™ Model CORE Training (required prerequisite) and are ready to incorporate the techniques and knowledge into their supervisory role.
The training is organized into three critical supervisory skills:
• Assessing the quality of their worker’s practice;
• Addressing worker safety concerns;
• Decision making and case guidance
This training is intended for CYFD and invited community provider managers and supervisors who have completed the 4-day Safe & Together Model CORE training.

Learning Objectives
- Describe how to apply the principles and key concepts of the Safe & Together Model to supervise worker
practice. - Use a coaching framework to provide DV-informed supervision of workers’ practice.
- Assess workers’ domestic violence-informed practice skills and support their skill development.
- Have better awareness and skills to address worker emotional and physical safety issues that have
implications for DV-informed practice and family outcomes. - Have increased skill and confidence to assess and develop a worker’s skills when practicing domestic
violence-informed assessment, interviewing, documentation and case planning. - Better provide DV-informed guidance to workers and make case decisions.
