Julie Raborn
Julie has a master’s degree in Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. Julie has expansive experience as a mental health counselor, behavioral health clinician, and in supervisorial roles within behavioral health. As a mental health counselor, Julie provided mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence counseling services using evidence-based approaches and facilitated group therapy sessions. As a behavioral health clinician, Julie provided clinical guidance regarding the behavioral health needs of youth and families to juvenile probation officers, coordinated care for youth, created comprehensive and outcome-based Action Plans, and provided individualized Wraparound supervision for facilitators. In her managerial and supervisorial roles, Julie provided weekly individual clinical supervision and monthly group supervision for licensed clinicians, developed Clinical Documentation and Clinical Best Practice Trainings for Community Behavioral Health Clinicians, and participated in Quality Service Reviews for clinical cases.
Currently, Julie works for the Center of Innovation for Behavioral Health where she participates in Quality Service Reviews and provides collaborative feedback to agencies, manages the From Learning to Practice Grant, and provides Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Trainings.
Additionally, Julie is a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
