Who We Are
The Center of Innovation for Behavioral Health and Wellbeing at New Mexico State University was created to address the pressing need of strengthening and expanding community behavior health services across New Mexico. We are committed professionals dedicated to finding innovative solutions to some of New Mexico’s most complex challenges.
What We Do
The Center of Innovation provides training and program implementation support to ensure that community providers can learn and grow within a trauma-responsive environment and receive the necessary training and support to improve the quality of care across all communities.
Why We Do It
We believe that access to safe and equitable services is a fundamental right of all New Mexicans and it is our job as professionals working in the field to uphold the value of human dignity in all that we do.
Parents and Caregivers receive support from a Certified Family Peer Support Worker who has lived experience raising a child, or youth with emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
