Training Description

In this 3-hour in-person training, trainers introduce High-Fidelity Wraparound to individuals who are not familiar with it. This training defines Wraparound, explains its place in the continuum of care and presents Wraparound’s supporting evidence and outcomes. Participants will learn the set of values that guide the Wraparound philosophy and the core elements that structure the process.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify Wraparound’s Theory of Change and how it relates to clients in a social work setting.
  • Recognize the 11 foundational values of High-Fidelity Wraparound and how they relate to social work practice standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Identify the role of High-Fidelity Wraparound within the continuum of care for individuals, including its position in promoting person-centered, strengths-based approaches to service delivery and support.
  • Recognize the three fidelity tools used in High-Fidelity Wraparound and their importance in providing high-quality care for clients.
  • Discuss how the availability of High-Fidelity Wraparound is beneficial for both the community and its social work service providers.

This training is a part of the State of New Mexico’s Children, Youth, and Families Behavioral Health Services NM High-Fidelity Wraparound Program.
